About Lucy
¡Hola! Bonjour! I'm Lucy, and I offer private French and Spanish tutoring (KS2/3, GCSE, A-Level, adults, and beginners). Having lived in both France and Spain for several years, I have native level proficiency and I am passionate about spreading my love of languages and incorporating cultural/linguistic knowledge in my lessons through varied stretching and engaging activities. I build confidence in my students by encouraging them to perform at their very best at all times, particularly in GCSE and A-level examinations, whilst aiming to instil a love of languages in all my students.

Lessons would generally last 1 hour, but happy to do 45 mins. I adapt my lessons to suit each and every student. I always begin with a recap of previous knowledge, then do 3-4 activities, focusing on different skills, before retrieving knowledge at the end. I incorporate games and interactive activities to keep learners engaged. I can offer: - classes tailored to a particular skill (e.g. speaking or essay writing at GCSE/A-Level) or more general classes. - fun and engaging classes for KS2 and KS3 level, to equip students with the grammar and vocabulary foundations in preparation for GCSE. - informal lessons to adult learners wishing to gain effective communication skills in French/Spanish
