About Vladimir
I'm a musician/artist based in London and I've been teaching in person and online for 8 years now. I love playing the guitar and writing my own music as well as learning covers. I specialise in Rock, Fingerstyle and I also teach people from scratch where they learn how to have their fundamentals in place for playing simple chord based songs and melodic lines and so on. I love humour so I make sure to keep the lessons light and fun and I know that this helps the students to relax whilst learning with me. And when you relax you truly play and learn at your best! I've never really been a fan of the word "practice" and I instead use the word "Play" because that's what we're here to do really. Playing and learning the guitar comes with a good level of commitment of course and that's tied in with how far you wish to reach as a learner. There are no limits and you are the one calling the shots on how much you intend to stretch yourself in your development. I like pushing students to break new boundaries and think outside of the box and of rigid patterns that develop during our growth as learners in all areas of life. I have known Vlad for a number of years as his Head of Department (Music) at a private school in North London.
