About Ross

As a French tutor with 11 years of experience, I have helped 150 to 200 High School and College students improve their understanding and confidence in the language. My teaching philosophy is to make learning meaningful and relatable. I believe that students learn better when they can connect the language to real-life situations, so I use examples and conversations in my teaching.

I focus on making lessons interactive and engaging, encouraging students to participate actively. I also support students in exam preparation and help them improve their overall performance. One of my notable achievements is helping students develop confidence and achieve better academic results.

Many of my students have grown to enjoy learning French. I aim to create a positive and motivating environment for all learners.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for French is designed to help students learn effectively while enjoying the process. I use real-life examples and case studies to explain concepts clearly and make lessons more relatable. This helps students understand how the language works in everyday communication.

I maintain flexibility by adapting lessons according to each student’s learning needs, pace, and goals, ensuring a comfortable and personalised learning experience. I encourage collaboration by involving students in interactive sessions, discussions, and speaking activities that improve confidence and communication skills.

I also follow a compassionate approach, creating a safe and positive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and improve. In addition to French, I also support students in grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing skills. I also include cultural understanding, helping students connect with the language more deeply and use it effectively in real-life situations.
