About Ana
I am a native Spanish speaker with a passion for languages and teaching. I hold a BA in English Studies and spent a year abroad at the University of Glasgow, which strengthened my language skills and cultural understanding.
I am a patient, approachable and supportive teacher, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and make steady progress. I find it very rewarding to guide students as they develop their language skills and discover a new culture in an engaging and enjoyable way.
My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated and able to reach their full potential.

My lessons are carefully tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals and learning style. I begin by identifying specific areas for improvement and creating a structured plan that focuses on their main challenges, while continuing to develop all key language skills in a balanced way.
I place strong emphasis on clarity and confidence. Grammar is explained in a clear and accessible way, and students are guided step by step towards accurate and natural use of the language. Regular practice, targeted exercises and constructive feedback ensure steady and measurable progress.
For students preparing for exams, sessions include focused revision strategies, structured writing practice, speaking preparation and effective exam techniques. We work strategically to build both subject knowledge and exam confidence.
Lesson length is flexible and can be adapted to suit individual needs — whether shorter sessions for younger learners or longer, intensive lessons closer to exams.
I also believe that motivation plays a key role in success. Where appropriate, I incorporate engaging materials such as songs, short videos, articles and cultural content to make learning dynamic and enjoyable, while maintaining a clear academic focus.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, sixth form learners and adults who are looking for structured, high-quality Spanish tuition in a supportive and professional environment.
