About Ethan
I simply love teaching drums! In person, I do lessons at the full rehearsal studio in my Brooklyn 2-floor apartment. (Two drum sets — the best way to learn!)
My 1-on-1 lesson experience includes many years as a drum teacher — as well as several years as an English, math, and Spanish tutor around NYC. Sharing knowledge makes me happy :)
I believe all people have rhythm inside them. As drummers, it’s our job to bring it out— first in ourselves, then in them!

• You want to make music. You need a good teacher to help you develop strong, flowing technique and guide you gently toward your own sound.
• I work with you to develop exercises around YOUR interests.
• I help you gain command of the fundamentals of the instrument and of music.
• Excellent communicator — 10 years of professional education experience (public speaking across the country and internationally).
• Not all good teachers are good players! I am a highly-respected performer in the NYC contemporary music scene. Learn from someone who really knows!
