About Trisha
Kia ora! My name is Trisha, and I am a high school student. I'm here to prepare you for your journey toward gaining your academic qualifications, whether it be for NCEA or the new curriculum framework. I have experience tutoring students in years 9–10 as they adapt to the new expectations they face in high school. I aim to make this transition in academic rigor much more seamless, ensuring that students achieve their goals. I am friendly, adaptable, and have a flexible schedule. I also provide plenty of take-home resources for you to deepen your understanding, and I constantly make sure that parents and caregivers are updated on their child's progress. I offer personalized feedback directly tailored to your areas for improvement, and I will always encourage you on your academic journey. Being a high school student, I also have a great understanding of the curriculum and the tips and tricks needed to succeed.

I have 1 year of tutoring experience, working with a range of students, primarily those who are preparing for their Year 10 NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications. Lesson times are 1 hour, but are flexible.
I ensure my tutees know proper writing structure through repeated tasks, alongside personalised feedback to directly target areas of strength and improvement.
My lessons are suitable for any age group up until year 10.
My qualifications are as follows:
Year 9 Academic Excellence (Over 85% Excellence rate)
Year 9 Distinction in STEAM Social Studies and STEAM English
