I am a professional primary school teacher with 7 years of experience. Before the pandemic, I went to Australia to improve my English and now I have returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina. I really enjoy teaching students online especially during the pandemic period when everybody was stuck on ZOOM. I have a bachelor’s degree as a teacher.

I really like to make my classes student-centered. I like to communicate with my students about what their needs and goals are and then go from there when creating lessons. I give lessons to all levels and age groups. I visited Melbourne, Australia for 2 years and learned as much as I could about the amazing Aussie culture and lifestyle! As I was born in the Balkans, I was raised up and taught all there is to know about our Balkan culture. All of my classes will be typically based around a variety of topics which include but are not limited to literature, arts, culture, history, and modern-day society. I tailor all of my lessons depending on the student's age and interests. My experience in the field of professional teaching also helps me utilize different methods to adapt and help with youngsters.

I met Nevena online when I was looking for a English and Croatian teacher. Surprisingly it was very difficult to find a teacher that taught both languages.
Nevena is an incredible teacher with ALOT of patience and experience. She is extremely professional and takes her job very serious. Communication was very easy and the way that Nevena tailored each lesson to suit was astounding. I highly recommend Nevena to anyone who is interested.
