Deadly! Prabhjyot is teaching Hindi to my daughter who’s in Grade 9. He’s a very good teacher. He’s extremely patient and connects very well with his students which is a trait of a truly good teacher. Deadly! Prabhjot is an exceptional teacher and I am so happy that I found him here on Superprof! In only a few weeks, my Hindi speaking, listening and grammar knowledge has improved drastically, and more importantly, so has my confidence!

Prabhjot has excellent punctuality, always starting lessons on time and is more than happy to extend the lesson in order to cover all the learning that he had planned, at no extra cost. As I am an intermediate Hindi learner, a key focus during my lessons is speaking and listening, so Prabhjot speaks only in Hindi and will repeat something afterwards in English if needed. If I don’t understand something, he will speak slowly and break it down into manageable chunks, until I grasp the meaning. He also allows me to speak freely in Hindi without interruption, noting down any errors, which we discuss after the conversation has finished. I really appreciate this approach as it allows me to make my own corrections and get to the end of my sentence or idea without losing my train of thought.

One aspect that makes Prabhjot extra special is his commitment to checking homework in his own time and providing really helpful feedback outside of the lesson. We then discuss this during the lesson if I have any questions or need more practice.

Lastly, Prabhjot has a great sense of humour, is kind, friendly and very patient. Even when I take ages to say something, make mistakes, or forget something, I never feel rushed and always feel supported.

If you are a beginner or already know some Hindi, I highly recommend taking lessons with Prabhjot - you will not regret it!

Deadly! I have been lerning Hindi with Prabhjot for over 2 months now and I never learned a language that quick. Prabhjot takes more then the strict 1 hour to teach me what is nessecary, he's not cutting the class off because the time is up. If I don't understand something, he will keep on repeating what he already told me but in different words. He has a clear plan for what the lessons will look like, which is nice. I myself can be so eager to learn sometimes that I ask questions about things (topics) I'm not ready for... Prabjhot is then always kindly telling me that he will teach me that later on, so that I learn only what I'm ready for and not get lost in information... I would say he is better at teaching then some of my middle school language teachers! He speaks perfect English, which is nice for the communication and important, and he reminds me everytime that speaking is the key to learning, hearing yourself speak, which is true! In the classes he makes me as much as possible ''think out loud''. Two months and I start understanding the basics of Hindi already!! For the information: we're using a very good textbook. Prabhjot even gave me the PDF for free! Me and my Hindi-speaking boyfriend are still very thankful to have found such a good teacher.
