About Macy
I am a PhD student in Hispanic Linguistics at Indiana University and have my MA in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Iowa. My BA is in Spanish and International Studies from Loras College. I have experience teaching Spanish at the University of Iowa at varying levels.

As a teacher, I do my best to make lessons more than just reading out of a book. I enjoy using real-life activities to practice and learn a language. Since I study linguistics, I am very familiar with the language development process. I can teach students of all ages, but have most experience teaching adults.
