About Aaron
I'm a high school teacher with four years of experience teaching AP US History and AP Government at a private school in Houston, Texas. My teaching journey began internationally, as an English teacher at a university in Saigon, Vietnam. It was an experience that shaped my belief that every student can thrive with the right guidance and encouragement.
I am patient, organized, and genuinely invested in each student's growth. I work with students who have a range of learning needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and I tailor every session to the individual.
Tutoring is an extension of my passion for teaching. I seek to help students build real confidence in the classroom and beyond.

My lessons are structured, patient, and tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. Whether a student needs foundational support or wants to push toward more advanced work, I meet them exactly where they are.
A typical session begins by identifying a student's specific challenge. It could be a concept they don't understand, an essay they're struggling to write, or an exam they need to prepare for. From there, I build the lesson around that need, rather than a rigid script.
I specialize in US History, AP US History, AP Government, and social studies at the middle and high school levels. My background includes four years of classroom teaching, including international experience teaching English at the university level in Saigon, Vietnam. I bring that same global perspective and love of learning into every tutoring session.
My approach emphasizes critical thinking and clear analytical writing. These are skills that serve students well beyond any single class or exam.
