History and politics graduate, tutoring GCSE and A-Level, with expertise in progression to university

During his time at the University of Sheffield, I worked alongside Edd on several projects, the main being an outreach project I managed. This was a project run mainly by students, with Edd as our member of staff point of contact. He ensured we were well supported by him when needed, always providing excellent help and advice in an accessible and engaging way. While this is not an example of him as a Superprof/tutor, I believe these skills are transferrable and would make him a reliable, engaging, and approachable tutor.

Edward is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about History, his support with the University of Sheffied’s History in the City project demonstrates this. His previous experience supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds highlights his empathy and ability to support students from a diverse range of backgrounds. Edward is reliable, compassionate and organised, and any student would be very lucky to be tutored by him - and would definitely flourish and progress. Edward would not only provide beneficial History tutoring, he would support students with careers and transferable skills, making him a well rounded and highly trustworthy tutor.

I have worked with Ed for the last 4 years, he is an excellent communicator and has extensive knowledge and outstanding skills which he has used to build lasting, working relationships with students, staff and educators alike.
