I was once in your position of dreading writing essays, finding it hard to brainstorm ideas, and then worse yet: how the heck do I get this down on paper? Trust me, it gets easier - I can show you how. The feeling of finally tackling a daunting paper and showing it who is the boss is what I aim for.
Now, to be personal:
Throughout my college journey, I've proudly maintained a spot on the Dean's List.
As a Classical Studies major that was constantly in the throes of reading and writing papers more than any other major, I did come out with a reputation for acing 15+ page research papers every time.
For real-world experience, I have been a historical research assistant to authors and Smithsonian historical journalists. I've delved into the depths of the past and emerged with stories to share and wisdom to impart.
I have also lent a hand to grad students crafting their undergrad lesson plans while still in the undergrad life myself!
Essentially, I'm here to provide you with writing skills that will serve you beyond your classroom years.

About the lesson

As a student that once dreaded writing papers, but now finds immense joy in it, I would love to share my success secrets with you.
- My teaching method is fun, engaging, and tailored to ensure comprehensive understanding and retention of the subject matter - this will also be reflected in your writing.
I like to use real-life, relatable examples to make complex concepts more accessible. I encourage critical thinking where we can foster a learning environment where questions are welcomed and encouraged.
- A typical lesson plan with me includes an initial assessment to gauge your current knowledge level and identify areas for improvement. From there, we'll work together to set specific learning objectives and develop a tailored curriculum. I like to have interactive discussions to reinforce key concepts and comprehension.
- What sets me apart as a tutor is my expertise in history, classical studies (which required an immense amount of reading and writing), and German, backed by academic achievements and real-world experience in historical research and writing. I am not just imparting knowledge but also sharing my passion for the subjects, inspiring students to develop a deeper appreciation and curiosity for learning. With my guidance, you'll not only excel academically but also develop critical thinking skills and confidence that will benefit you far beyond the classroom!
