About Sevan

I have a 2:1 degree in History from the University of Southampton as well as a distinction in my master's in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music. I love teaching and helping pupils reach their potential is one of my drivers in life.

About the lesson

I’m an engaging and thoughtful tutor who will put your needs first. I am patient and understand that everyone learns at their own speed. I like to start my lessons by asking you what you need help with and making sure you fully understand any concepts before we move on. I will then adapt the sessions according to your needs.

Sevan is an extremely kind, patient teacher. He builds trusting relationships with his students and ensures everyone feels supported to learn at their own pace, ask questions and grow in confidence. Sevan tailors his sessions to the needs and learning style of each student, and is always respectful. He also has exceptional knowledge of European and American History, and explains a huge amount of detail in an accessible, engaging way, always making sure that students are understanding as they go. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a tutor.
