About John
I have my Masters Degree in adolescent education, concentrated in social studies from SUNY Empire State. I have a Bachelors Degree in History from SUNY Oswego. I live in the Western NY area, and have taught high school history for 3 years now. History is my passion! I know that history isn't for everyone, but I want to help make it a little easier to understand.

I am a huge visual learner. I often use pictures, clips, and even actual historic items to help my students learn. I try to relate history to everyday situations that we have all gone through. Making it more simple to understand. My lessons consist of a short lecture (with plenty of images), a worksheet to show how much you absorbed, and then a quick clip to drive the lesson home! My lessons are for 7-12th grade. US History, Global History, or Gov./Econ.
