About Luke
I graduated with a degree in BA History at a First Class grade from the University of Hull in 2019. I specialise in the history of Nazi controlled Germany (a popular GCSE topic) but I am also very knowledgeable in the field of British history and 20th century history more generally, hoping to aid fellow history students in achieving the high grades that they deserve.

My teaching strategy follows the philosophy that no concept or theme is too complicated to not be broken down in to smaller more manageable chunks. Therefore, I believe it is vital that the student has an excellent grasp on the foundation of the basics of historical analysis such as how to efficiently construct an essay and how to prepare for exams so that these should come instinctively to the student, so that additional layers of understanding and critical analysis can be built upon this strong foundation.
