About Nida
I, Nida Mahatae, am a resident of Mumbai currently in the final year of MA in History at SNDT University, Mumbai.
Ever since my school days i've been passionate about learning history and now have developed a desire to teach it. I realized this passion of teaching while pursuing my bachelors degree, I used to tutor my classmates and help in clearing their doubts. These daily sessions with my colleagues have given me some unofficial experience of teaching.
Along with acquiring knowledge, I am fond of sharing it too. Therefore I am recognised amongst my classmates and juniors for being approachable. For me gaining knowledge is a never ending journey therefore I do not wish to have a know-it-all attitude, rather I am constantly receptive to new ideas and strive to improve my skills at every chance.

There are numerous educational strategies that have been shown to improve students' attention, enthusiasm, and intrinsic drive in class. Instead of just me speaking, I want to make my class more interesting by turning it into a dialogue. I also intend to use PowerPoint presentations to help me comprehend the topics better.
I'm just getting started as a teacher, so I haven't had much time to experiment with new ways yet, but I want to learn as much as I can during my time here.
