About Jamie
I teach at a school in south London, covering many different topics in history. I primarily teach the edexcel exam board for GCSE and A level, but I am happy to explore other exam specs too! I am to teach as diverse a curriculum as possible, covering areas of history that may not be mainstream but are crucial for our understanding of the past, and our society today.

I approach lessons to be as engaging as possible, by using discussion, debates, sources and historians works to help students learn and retain information effectively. I try to make my sessions as relaxed as possible, giving my students the space they need to ask questions where they need to, as well as engage with the subject of history, rather than just fitting into the exam board criteria.
