About James
I am a postgraduate student who has recently completed an MSc in Politics from Queen Mary, University of London. I am also the holder of a BA (Hons) in History from Birkbeck, University of London. I am available to teach both English up to GCSE level and History up to A-Level. I am well versed in the subjects usually covered at GCSE and A-Level and, as someone who only took A-Levels around 5 years ago, I can provide a fresh outlook which your child may be able to relate to more in their studies, rather than more of what they are already receiving at school.

Firstly, I like to use the initial booked session as a consultation on what your child specifically requires, in terms of course content and exam/coursework technique, as well as important administration such as examining body etc. From there I will use my own learning methods to rapidly advance your child through the syllabus, first providing macro-historic background before focusing on key areas and going into detail. This will also allow us to work a week in advance, identifying what we will be covering the following week, and allowing me to prepare the best lesson plan possible. Mostly it is important to note that I will be guided by you and am flexible with what approach you would like me to take. Any questions do not hesitate to ask.
