About Amy
I possess a BA degree in Anthropology and Writing and a Masters in Education. I am a certified Social Studies teacher with 3+ years of experience teaching US History and World History to Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers. I have also traveled and studied in many different countries, giving my history lessons life with real world cultural experiences.

I strongly believe in experiential, discussion-based education for teaching Social Science, allowing for students to practice critical-thinking, collaboration, and group discussion. As a teacher, I hope to motivate students by harnessing their inner strengths and abilities to discover what truly inspires them. My goal is to foster a culturally diverse learning environment that encourages students to trust their own opinions, build their confidence, and reach their full potential.
