About Micah
Speaking more than one language has opened many doors for me. It has allowed me to live, study, work and travel the world freely and has made me more employable. The more languages you speak, the greater the number of people you can interact with and the more information you can access.
Often languages are poorly taught in school such that students leave school with only a few set phrases. I have always had a natural affinity for languages and have recognised how much of an asset they can be. I am therefore passionate about writing the wrongs of students' language miseducation and putting them on the path to becoming a poliglot like myself.

I devised my teaching method while learning languages myself and it is the result of years of trial and error and research into the science of memory. My method focusses on developing a full understanding of the grammar at the outset to give students a strong grasp of the fundamental building blocks of the language. The approach from there is context-based immersion. We will centre lessons around topics and subjects that you are interested in; be it sports, music, current affairs, politics etc. We will regularly revisit what we have learned to ensure it is stored in your long term memory.
Lessons are an hour, delivered remotely and for all levels. I have tutored many students in the past, I have a degree in Law and Spanish and Spanish Law and I use my language skills on a daily basis while working as an international corporate lawyer.
