About Juan
I am a Chemical Engineer with over 8 years of experience in diverse industries such as Oil&Gas, Manufacturing and Warehousing. I started teaching as an Undergrad Student while doing my degree and since then I have mastered my organizational and communication skills which better equips me to share my knowledge of the Spanish language. I discovered how fun teaching Spanish could be while traveling throughout South America where I met people from around the world wanting to learn more about my culture and my language.
I am comfortable working with individuals or small groups as I have experience in both environments. I have taken great joy in watching previous students that came to me as beginners learn the language and eventually become conversationally fluent.

I am an easy-going and patient native Spanish speaker, and take great joy in helping others learn to speak the language I was raised with. I will help you improve your Spanish, or get you started if you are brand new to the language, according to what you want to learn. Don't worry if you are feeling uncertain or overwhelmed about where to begin, we can figure that out together. Together we will identify your skill level and move forward from there at the pace you feel most comfortable. We will simulate conversational situations, as this is an important step in the learning process. If you are looking to continue practicing and perfecting your Spanish beyond our lessons I can recommend some great music, TV Shows, podcasts, or any other material you might be interested in.
