About Emily
I have a master's degree in psychology from the University of York graduating top of my class with a starred first, and a PhD in neuroscience from King's College London. I studied art, psychology, french, and archaeology for A level (A*AAA*) and I achieved 11 GCSES (2 A*, 9 A). I am now a professional neuroscientist working at the University of Oxford and throughout my academic career I have loved teaching students of all stages and found it extremely rewarding. I teach tutorials in biomedical science and undergraduate medicine at Oxford.

I have taught undergraduate and masters biomedical science, psychology, and neuroscience. I have also taught in secondary and primary schools and mentored refugee children with English and academic skills. My approach is to equip you with the broader academic skills to succeed, focusing on revision techniques and essay writing. I take an interactive approach to science, and I try to make it fun and current! I can help students of all ages and stages. My main expertise lies in the sciences but I can help with most subjects depending on level.
