About Will
I worked with approximately twenty elementary-to-middle students in the summer of 2017, working with an array of skill levels to explore writing concepts, as well as giving them the ability to recognize various narrative techniques in other works of literature. By the end of the class, every student showed a boost in confidence in their writing. I have also helped college students with English classes, from test prep for Shakespeare classes to essay help and proofreading. The results are positive, so I am confident I will be able to help students overcome any obstacle and bump up their grades.

I am a sophomore English major and Honors student with experience as an assistant editor on my college literary journal. Over the summer, I co-taught a creative writing class for elementary and middle school students where I worked to provide the tools for learning, as well as structure and guidance. I have assisted students from all ages through college with a variety of forms of writing, and am eager to give students the confidence to set their pace for learning aided by thorough instruction and an aptitude for communicating with all ages. I am adaptable; with my students, I have used a multitude of mediums from comic books to movies to convey concepts about literature using familiar examples.

Will is a strong Honors English major who really knows his stuff, and he is dedicated to the field due to his love of cinema... If it's English, he knows it.
