About Linda
I have always loved music, and was desperate for piano lessons from a very early age. I had lessons from the age of 11 until I went to college. It is very important to me that a pupil enjoys the lessons and gets as much out of them as possible. If pupils are engaged in what they are doing, then they are more likely to progress and continue to do well.

I have 20 years' experience and have taught in schools, colleges and individually. I use a variety of methods, as each lesson is tailored to the individual. Lessons are usually 1 hour long, but can be shorter for younger children. I have taught music to all ages, after teaching in a primary school for 24 years. I use the first lesson to discuss what a pupil would like to achieve, and this helps me plan my lessons accordingly.
