About Elizabeth
Hi! I'm Elizabeth, an online MFL tutor for French and Spanish.
I am passionate about language learning and aim to share my love for modern foreign languages and the doors they open in our lives! Whether it's on a family holiday, or a future living and working abroad, learning languages increases the variety of opportunities which find us, and helps us feel confident in every situation.
My own journey of studying languages and travelling has taught me so much, and I continue to learn every day. From completing French and Spanish at GCSE and A level, before progressing to a BA Hons: French, Russian and Spanish at the University of St Andrews I have built up my knowledge of teaching skills which are most effective for language students.
I'm thrilled to now have the opportunity to share my knowledge with students across the country, and look forward to meeting my next tutees!

All of my lessons are conversation-based, to ensure engagement and maximise learning opportunity.
Lessons of 30 minutes or 1 hour are tailored specifically to the requests of each student! We focus on confidence and building familiarity with the language so that speaking flows more naturally and grammar becomes instinctive. We can review and build upon the student's learning in school to keep lessons cohesive and constructive.
I personally completed the AQA GCSEs (Grade 9), however my lessons are designed to help all students, maximising their grades regardless of their exam board.
