About Emma
I have been teaching for 20 years and have taught children as young as 3 to adults who are preparing for Functional Skills exams.
My teaching is built on the belief that everyone can succeed when they feel safe, understood and valued. I take a nurturing, personalised approach, adapting every lesson to meet each learner’s individual strengths, needs and interests. Drawing on my expertise in SEND, SEMH and the Thrive Approach, I focus on building confidence and resilience alongside academic skills, creating engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, independence and a genuine love of learning.

Lessons are delivered live through Microsoft Teams or Zoom providing a safe, engaging and interactive learning experience that children can access from the comfort of home.
Each session is carefully planned and tailored to your child’s individual needs. Using screen sharing, interactive activities, digital whiteboards, games and collaborative tasks, lessons are designed to keep children actively involved and motivated throughout.
During each lesson, I provide clear explanations, model new skills, give immediate feedback and adapt my teaching in response to your child’s understanding, just as I would in the classroom. Children are encouraged to ask questions, think critically and celebrate their progress in a supportive, nurturing
