BA Hons Sociology Student specialising in Sociology, Philosophy and Ethics and Current Affairs

Methodology

Hi there, I am a Sociology Student in my final year of study. Most of my tutoring has been volunteer work to help some foreign students learn English in the Netherlands as part of an exchange programme.
My teaching style is calm and encouraging, as I believe this gains the best results from a student. I also feel a student learns best when they can relate to the subject on a personal level, hence my keen interest in Sociology. If all goes well hopefully you will teach me something too.

Experience

I have been giving English lessons for around a year to students my own age in the Netherlands. I taught around 5 people through a buddy system and all significantly improved their English. Although there was no formal test for the exchange students, I had positive feedback from all my students.

As a sociology student who has recently completed a study abroad year in The Hague, I am keen to explore and analyse everything, I am also used to working to tight deadlines in high-pressure situations. Key Skills and Traits.
• Analytical: able to analyse and evaluate in tremendous detail from skills given to me through my degree.
