I believe in using a combination of language and physical actions to engage my students in the language learning process. Introducing my students to items of cultural and personal relevance creates feelings of security and comfort and can help mentally prepare them for successful language acquisition. I always try to create a welcoming and familiar classroom by incorporate authentic materials into the classroom.
