About Dru

I am an ICF-certified coach and teen development specialist with dual Master's degrees in Adolescent Developmental Counseling and Teaching English. My academic background gives me a deep understanding of how young people develop — socially, emotionally, and academically — and that knowledge shapes everything I bring to my coaching work.

I came to coaching through teaching. After years in classrooms — public, private, virtual, and everything in between — I realized my deepest fulfillment came not from delivering curriculum but from the genuine human connections I was making with students. I saw how much was competing for their attention and energy, and I knew that academic success meant little without addressing the whole person first. That realization, along with the loss of my father and a commitment to stop waiting to live my purpose, led me here. Life is just to short not to embrace our dreams!

While I have a particular passion for working with teens and the adults in their lives, I coach people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you are navigating a life transition, building confidence, strengthening relationships, or simply ready to invest in yourself, I am here to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and help you move forward on your own terms.

About the lesson

My coaching sessions are designed for teens and adults who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives — whether that means strengthening relationships, building confidence, navigating a difficult transition, or simply figuring out what comes next.

Coaching with me is collaborative, goal-focused, and tailored entirely to you. There are no scripts or generic advice. Every session is built around where you are right now and where you want to go. I ask the right questions, help you uncover what is getting in your way, and support you in taking real steps forward.

A typical session begins with checking in on your goals and any progress since our last meeting. From there we dig into what matters most — exploring patterns, shifting perspective, building skills, or working through a specific challenge. Sessions are focused and productive while still feeling like a genuine conversation.

What sets my approach apart is the combination of coaching expertise and deep knowledge of human development. I understand how people grow and change, what gets in the way, and how to create the conditions where real progress happens. Clients leave sessions feeling clearer, more grounded, and more capable of moving forward.

I work with teens navigating the challenges of adolescence and adults facing personal or relational transitions of any kind. If you are ready to invest in yourself and do the work, I am ready to support you.
