About Amelia
I am a recent first-class Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Westminster. Before this, I studied Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A-level.
My success with my undergraduate degree is due to the way I approached my work with a committed and enthusiastic mindset. I hope to instil this mindset in all my students so that they can rebuild their confidence in themselves based on the results they obtain with their hard work and ignite their passion for science.

My teaching style is target-based- per lesson, we will set specific goals that we will have to achieve and review by the end of each session. At the end of each session the student will rate how confident they feel in the topic content covered and homework will be set accordingly.
I understand that each child is unique in their learning and for students with problems with retaining focus- I will help to implement Pomodoro learning for them to use in/ outside of their tuition.
My main aim is to share my passion for science and make it enjoyable learning experience.
Average length of a lesson is 60min and my classes are for students between the ages of 12-18.
I am new to tutoring, however, I believe that I can share my effective learning and revision techniques that I have gained throughout my academic career with your child.
