About Tara
With over three years of dedicated teaching experience, I am an enthusiastic pianist passionate about sharing my love for music with students of all ages and skill levels. My journey with the piano began at a young age, and over the years, I have immersed myself in both classical and jazz genres. This diverse musical background allows me to offer a well-rounded and enriching learning experience for my students.
My teaching philosophy is centered on creating an engaging and supportive environment that fosters growth and confidence. I believe that each student is unique, with their own learning style and pace. By tailoring lessons to meet individual needs and goals, I strive to make learning the piano both enjoyable and rewarding. Our piano lessons are thoughtfully designed to cater to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. We focus on a dual approach that balances classical and jazz instruction. Classical lessons emphasize the importance of sight-reading, understanding musical notation, and interpreting compositions from different historical periods. Students explore works by renowned composers such as Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, developing a deep appreciation for the structure and emotional depth of classical music. This foundation in classical training not only enhances technical proficiency but also fosters discipline and concentration.
In parallel, our jazz lessons introduce students to the exciting world of improvisation, chord progressions, and rhythmic variations.
