About Sam
Hi! I’m Sam, 33, a British native speaker with a clear, neutral accent. I’ve spent over six years teaching English in China and Vietnam, working with students of all ages and levels to help them gain confidence, improve fluency and achieve their language goals. I hold a degree in Health & Social Care, which provides me with valuable insight when supporting learners in healthcare or related fields. In addition, I have earned four TEFL certificates, equipping me with a strong foundation in teaching and language instruction. I’m passionate about creating lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to your individual needs whether you want to prepare for IELTS, improve your conversational skills, or develop professional English. Outside of teaching, I enjoy travelling, reading, swimming and cycling. These hobbies keep me active and inspired and I love learning about my students’ interests too—sharing experiences helps make our lessons more engaging and personalised.
