About Alina
I am a recent graduate from the Bronx High School of Science, one of the best high schools in New York City. Next year, I will be attending Georgetown University to study International Relations. I love language-learning and teaching other people English! I attended a French dual-language school for 7 years at the elementary level and took Russian classes for 12 years. Thanks to the hundreds of classes I have taken, I have learned how to properly and effectively teach languages, and English is my specialty.

- My lessons focus on basic English grammar rules, expanding vocabulary, pronunciation and speaking practice
- During each 1 hour lesson, we will complete a series of fun activities together that target different aspects of English comprehension (speaking, listening, reading, and writing)
- I speak Russian and Spanish at an intermediate level, so I am well-equipped to teach Russian and/or Spanish-speaking students. I have spent the past 10 years teaching my Russian grandmother English. Moreover, I have observed the techniques of my mother who is a professional ESL teacher.
