About Cory
I've been playing guitar since I was 8 years old. I've had formal lessons and have been teaching on and off for the past 12 years. I LOVE "The School of Rock" and some of my favorite artists/bands include Still Woozy, Dayglow, Wallows, Tame Impala, BORNS, and others in that realm. :) Looking forward to meeting you and rocking together!

I'll teach you FAST how to play the songs you love.
We'll get you used to the fret quickly with some basic fun exercises, then jump straight into a favorite song (we'll do an easy version and then progressively increase difficulty as you become more skilled).
Yes, we'll do scales, chord progressions, and the like to help you develop good form/mechanics. But playing the songs you love -- the reason you're here in the first place -- takes priority.
