About Zander

I became interested in programming after discovering how software applications can simplify complex tasks and improve everyday experiences. This interest encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering and later begin mentoring students who wanted to build strong coding foundations and practical development skills.

Over the last 6 years, I have guided learners through different programming languages and helped them improve their confidence through real coding practice rather than theory alone. I enjoy teaching students how to approach programming challenges logically and creatively while maintaining organised coding habits.

My teaching philosophy is based on experimentation, consistency, and practical implementation. I encourage students to build projects, test ideas, and learn from mistakes because real growth in programming comes from active problem solving and continuous exploration of technology.

About the lesson

My programming lessons are designed to prepare students for practical software development through hands-on coding, logical problem solving, and project-based learning. I teach Python, JavaScript, C++, SQL, web development, and data structures using interactive exercises that help learners understand how programming concepts work in real applications. Students learn how to write clean code, debug efficiently, and organise solutions using structured programming methods.

Every lesson is tailored to the learner’s technical background and long-term goals. Beginners focus on coding fundamentals such as loops, variables, conditions, and functions through guided practice tasks. Intermediate learners strengthen debugging skills, object-oriented programming, and algorithmic thinking. Advanced students work on full projects, optimisation techniques, APIs, and software architecture concepts. Frequent coding assignments help improve technical fluency, creativity, and independent problem-solving abilities.

My teaching objective is to help students become adaptable programmers who can confidently handle academic projects, technical interviews, and evolving industry technologies. Through practical coding experience and continuous learning, students gain the ability to build software solutions that are efficient, scalable, and professionally structured.
