About Sandhya
Innovative and technologically savvy planner - as a qualified Town and Regional Planner in the 21st century I have a lot to offer. I have gained many desirable skills during my years of in-service training/part time work and I look forward to utilizing and passing over these skills to future professionals.
I have obtained my National Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Town and Regional planning. I am currently pursuing my Master in the Built Environment. I have 2 years experience in tutoring and lecturing at Durban University of Technology. I have experience working with large groups of students (+-50 students) and individual lessons. I have experience and skills within the field of Town and Regional Planning/ Urban Planning, including the following subjects/modules:

I have obtained my National Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Town and Regional planning. I am currently pursuing my Master in the Built Environment.
I approach each topic in the most creative and innovate way, using PowerPoints, charts and diagrams in order to peak the interest of my students. I also work with a trail and error method, whereby I try several methods to find the best approach for my students.
I encourage a lot of one-on-one interactions with students, as I believe that this time allows for open communication and directed learning.
