About David
Music has the power to inspire creativity and confidence, and I enjoy sharing that experience with my students. With 13 years of piano teaching experience, I specialize in teaching college students through lessons that are personalized, engaging, and easy to follow.
My teaching style is based on clear communication and practical learning. I break difficult topics into simple steps and encourage students to practice with confidence. Every lesson is planned according to the student's current level and future goals.
I use innovative teaching techniques including interactive exercises, digital piano tools, listening activities, rhythm practice, and performance preparation. These methods help students stay motivated while improving their understanding of music.
Students develop skills in note reading, scales, chords, finger coordination, timing, posture, and musical expression. I provide regular feedback and personalized practice plans to ensure steady progress and long-term success.

I believe piano lessons should inspire both musical growth and personal confidence. My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and practical learning. Every student receives individual attention so they can learn comfortably at their own pace.
Students begin with posture, hand position, finger coordination, rhythm practice, note reading, and music theory. These important skills prepare them for scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and musical interpretation.
I explain concepts using demonstrations, practical examples, and enjoyable exercises. Students are encouraged to ask questions, practice consistently, and understand the purpose behind every lesson. Regular feedback helps students continue improving.
Students explore many styles of music while developing creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and expressive playing. These experiences increase confidence and encourage artistic expression.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, rhythm development, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These supporting lessons provide balanced musical development.
My mission is to help every student enjoy learning, achieve their musical goals, and develop a lifelong love for piano and music.
