About Cynthia
I am a native English speaker with a master's degree in teaching ESL and extensive experience instructing at universities and major companies. I have successfully taught all ESL levels to a wide variety of learners including university students, top-level executives, middle management, and staff. I also speak Spanish.

I create courses that focus on my students' specific interests and needs. For example, I have designed courses for accountants, assistants, tourism personnel, petroleum engineers, university students, and executives. I can also create the perfect course for you!
Through conversation and materials related to your profession, studies or interests, I am able to determine the specific structures, vocabulary and pronunciation you need to learn. In this way, my classes tend to be much more dynamic and useful than commercial programs that only “follow a book." I will coach you to speak more correctly and confidently, and you will get the results you want more quickly.
I also have much experience and skill teaching pronunciation. Interested students may neutralize their accents significantly, and all students can improve their listening comprehension by learning about natural pronunciation from the United States.
Other services I offer include:

-- Coaching for giving presentations (for executives and students)
Classes online via Zoom or other video conferencing program.
