I am a very professional individual, however, I also enjoy having fun. I love school and everything about it and I love to share this passion with others by making my lessons engaging and fun. I am very personable and enjoy teaching teenagers.

I use a variety of literature pieces to engage students and help them with their reading comprehension. They range from novels to short stories and passages from novels. I am familiar with high school students so I have an idea of what kind of stories they'd enjoy reading. I also ask students what their interests are and I match them with a novel/short story.
I choose relevant topics to help engage students to write essays. Students usually don't like to write because the topics they are given do not interest them. In order to build endurance with writing, I use what they like and topics that are important to them.
The majority of my lessons are for high school students but I can adjust them for middle school as well.
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I pay attention to my students and I adjust my lesson to meet their individual needs.
