About Emmett
"Rhino modeling was not my first software choice when I started my 12 years in the design industry. I initially focused on hand sketching before realizing that architectural surfacing and Boolean operations offer far more control for complex geometry. My BA in Interior Design gives me a unique perspective on how to teach these tools to students who need to bridge the gap between concept and fabrication. I spend time covering how to handle blocks and instances alongside the technicalities of importing or exporting files like STEP, IGES, and STL.
Turning 3D models into accurate 2D drawings is a core skill I enjoy sharing with my students. I am a firm believer that technical precision is a form of art."

"Practical application is the primary focus of our sessions. Reusable Grasshopper snippets shared after each session allow you to apply complex logic to your own projects without starting from scratch. My 12 years of experience in the field of interior design means I can explain these abstract commands through the lens of real-world construction. The BA in Interior Design I earned at University College Cork provides the structural framework for how we approach surfacing and geometric precision.
