About Kay
As First-Class Interior Design graduate with over 25 years of professional experience, I have worked across leading multidisciplinary firms and intimate design studios before founding my own successful practice. I have a diverse portfolio spanning sectors from prisons, hospitals, schools and offices to luxury hotels, independent cafés, and private homes. With experience managing projects at all scales, from multi-million-pound developments to bespoke independent spaces. My passion lies in creating spaces that enhance lives of the users and in helping aspiring designers grow their skills and confidence bringing real-world insight to every tutoring session. Beyond teaching and studio work, I’ve co-hosted an interior design podcast and worked as a holiday home critic, offering a broad and contemporary perspective on design.

My tutoring approach is hands-on and tailored to your goals, whether you’re preparing for crits and assessments, refining your creative thinking, or building confidence in industry tools and techniques I can help. I have over 7 years of experience lecturing at university level and teaching remote learners and have supported hundreds of students through their design education journey, from developing strong concepts and mastering CAD and technical drawing, to producing professional presentations and portfolios and navigating the transition into practice.
