About Loc

Hi there, thank you for considering me for becoming your tutor.

I hold a PhD (2021) in Architecture and Urban Design, and a Bachelor (2017) of Interior Architecture. I have various experiences spanning across the academic and practice (territorial and international). This includes:

*Over 5 years teaching Design Studios, Model Making, Hand Sketching, Revit, and Portfolio Making - at Swinburne, Melbourne.
*Over 2 year of territorial experiences, include working as an Interior Designer for a Top 5 Architectural Firm in the World - HDR Inc.
*Over 6 years of international experiences, include managing my start-up Design Studio in Vietnam with 10 acquired projects.
*A Published Paper for Accredited Journal and Conference Paper.

These experiences are great contribution to my teaching experiences, allowing myself to diversify my teaching approaches and, at the same time, appreciate the differences in each of the students. This appreciation is key to realize the student potential, polish their skills, and shape their mentality to always be self-sufficient.

About the lesson

With my intensive teaching experience at Swinburne University (over 5 years) and my Industry Experience (over 2 years - territorial), I can teach you:

_BIM modelling, documenting, visualization and conceptual/3D massing using Revit and Enscape.
_Basic to Advanced Construction/Joinery Knowledge for Academic pursuits and Graduate-entry Practice Level.
_Design skillsets integrated with independent problem-solving mentality.

Tutorials will run accordingly to the levels of complexity of your requirement. There are

1 hour ($55): to solve a particular issue that involves basic Revit/Modelling, and/or design strategy.

5 hours ($250): to cover the basic of Joinery and Construction knowledge.

20 - 30 hours (TBC): to become proficient at Revit with confidence. The course will aim to train you using Revit across different stages, from Town Planning Package to Concept Design and Issue for Tender. This includes using Revit for Documenting Construction and Joinery, 3D Massing and Modeling, Visualization.
