About Jasmine

I apply my MA in Music Education to break down complex improvisation and soloing into logical steps for my students. Teaching guitar felt like the natural evolution of my career because music is a universal language. It actually started when I realized that many self-taught players struggle with the basic mechanics of chord transitions. After teaching 400 students over 10 years, I see patterns in where people get stuck.
My MA in Music Education and TESOL certification provide a unique framework for explaining rhythm guitar and scales to kids and returning learners. These qualifications allow me to blend technical rigor with a friendly approach that keeps students motivated. I genuinely enjoy watching a student figure out how to navigate barre chords for the first time. I have a guitar sitting right next to my desk in my home office.
