About Henry

As an international educational consultant and qualified engineer, I have dedicated over a quarter of a century to guiding high-achieving students toward academic excellence in international environments. My career has been consolidated within the International Baccalaureate (IB) ecosystem, specializing in optimizing performance for Higher Level (HL) technical subjects. My role is not that of a conventional tutor; I approach learning from a strategic and analytical perspective, transforming the inherent rigor of engineering into an accessible and predictable roadmap for students.

Over more than 25 years, I have worked closely with families and students from diverse global backgrounds, giving me a deep understanding of the time management challenges and psychological pressures inherent in these programs. My commitment focuses on developing not only conceptual mastery but also the methodological confidence necessary to face an examination board. It is essential to reiterate that all my professional activities, support materials, and communication channels with families are managed entirely in English, maintaining the standard of immersion and excellence that this level demands.

About the lesson

With over a quarter-century of experience preparing International Baccalaureate students, I have learned that success in the Diploma Programme hinges on understanding—with pinpoint precision—how the examiner thinks. My work in the virtual classroom goes far beyond simply answering specific questions; I teach students to structure their analytical thinking through the rigorous lens of engineering—an advantage applicable to mathematics, the sciences, and the humanities alike. As this is a premium international consultancy service, all classes and direct communication with families (including messages, reports, and coordination) are conducted exclusively in English.

I design my sessions around the deconstruction of past exam papers and the strategic optimization of the Internal Assessment (IA). Rather than merely seeking the correct answer, we analyze—step by step—why a specific method applies and how to articulate it on paper to strictly meet International Baccalaureate (IB) assessment criteria. I provide specialized, high-level technical support for the following official program subjects:
(1) Mathematics: A strategic focus on both Analysis and Approaches (AA) and Applications and Interpretation (AI), mastering graphing calculators and analytical rigor.
(2) Sciences: Developing empirical scientific thinking and understanding mark schemes, alongside optimizing lab reports for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Systems and Societies.
(3) Language and Literature Studies: Structuring critical commentaries, conducting in-depth textual analysis, and ensuring stylistic precision for English: Literature and English: Language and Literature.
(4) Individuals and Societies: Analytical methodology, robust argumentation, and global contextualization for Global Politics, History, and Geography.

I maintain a direct and transparent line of communication with families to coordinate progress. My methodology provides a rigorous structure and a proven roadmap to achieving the top score of 7, always grounded in the clear premise that the actual result is the fruit of the student's own daily effort and commitment.
