Deadly! Fantastic in explaining strategies, very benevolent, and very talented yet humble. Great communication skills. Who would have thought analysing chess could be so much joy? Her method of teaching makes me think of a quote from Emanuel Lasker. "When you see a good move, look for a better one." This tutor is fully focused on students' weaknesses in their approach to the game and not simply on tactical flashes, and she is very patient and selfless in her approach. Her explanations of the rationale behind a chess move remind me of what Botvinnik said about Capablanca: "Capablanca didn't make separate moves - he was creating a chess picture."
