Deadly! Ruth is amazing. My first induction lesson, she really took her time to understand what I am expecting from her as a tutor and she also explained very well what she can offer. Have been having lessons with her for the past few weeks now and have learned so much. I can see visible progress in these past few weeks and the lessons are really structured which makes a big difference for me. If you want a teacher or a tutor who is patient, skilful and knowledgeable, contract Ruth

Deadly! I had my first online saxophone lesson and it was an excellent experience. Ruth was able to identify what style of music I was interested in and my goals re playing and improvisation, which is e what I was looking for.

From the start, she created a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere, even over an online session. She

listened carefully to my current level and goals, then tailored the lesson to help me begin improvising within a worship context rather than just playing notes.

What stood out was how clearly she explained phrasing, tone, improvisation and how to flow with backing tracks.

The lesson felt practical, musical, and inspiring — not just technical. I came away more confident and motivated to practise, with simple ideas I could use immediately.

She demonstrated improvisation using the pentatonic scale and other licks .

I really enjoyed the lesson , and felt relaxed and motivated to keep on learning

Thank you Ruth for a excellent 1st lesson
