About Henar

Hi! I'm Henar, a 19-year-old International Relations student. While I'm passionate about learning about the world, I also love children and teaching. English has always been my favorite subject, and I'm quite fluent, so it's the subject I enjoy teaching the most. However, I can also help with other subjects like Spanish, math, or history, depending on the grade level. As a student myself, I often face the frustration of not fully understanding many things, so it's incredibly important to me that my students know I'll always try my best to help them clear up any doubts they have about what they're studying. Patience is one of my strengths, so I have no problem repeating concepts as many times as necessary, because my goal is for my students to learn. I try to teach in a didactic and interactive way, not simply by rote memorization, as I don't believe in that method. I'm eager to help you with anything you need, so if you're interested, please contact me!

About the lesson

I prioritize comprehension over memorization; for me, it's essential that my students learn, not just memorize. For example, in an English class, instead of just doing grammar exercises, I would focus on dialogue and written expression, presented in a way that is both engaging and truly effective. Furthermore, they can only speak to me in English to enhance their vocabulary and develop their expression in the language. I will also recommend series, films, and singers that can further their learning. I am very patient and understand the frustration of not getting things right, so I completely understand their situation and have no problem repeating and explaining things as many times as necessary.
