About Jude
I have 5 years of experience teaching music to students of all ages, spanning from 4 to 65. I have done both private and group lessons, and virtual and in-person. I love helping beginners get started with their musical journey, and watching them grow not only as a person, but as a musician. We all come from different backgrounds and experiences, but I firmly believe that everyone has the chance to become an excellent musician. I am currently earning my bachelor's degree at George Mason University in International Relations, and have worked with students of all different backgrounds and experiences. I am planning on earning a Master's degree in audio production technology at Berklee School of Music, and have been involved in several musical projects in the past three years (including but not limited to creating my own EP, original songs, and bands). Although my main strength is vocals, I also play (and have taught) guitar, and a little bit of bass and drums as well. Music has been a pivotal part of my life since I was 5 years old, and I am more than excited to share this part with people!

Hello! I'm very excited to join superprof as a tutor. I am an undergraduate international relations student with experience in musical teaching and tutoring, both in-person and online. A typical lesson plan from me really depends on the student, as we are all different :) I normally like to incorporate the student's interests, both musical and non-musical, as well as highlighting their strengths so the lesson doesn't seem monotonous and boring. I engage with the student, rather than just talking at them. I can teach anyone from grades pre-k to middle school, and am very good at getting beginners started and interested in whatever material they are learning. Whether it's a classical piece they have to learn, an assignment for chorus class, or just a song they'd like to learn for fun, I've got a fun lesson plan for anyone and everyone!
