About Josie
I am enrolled at the University of Queensland studying International Studies at the moment with plans of doing a double degree of Arts/Law in the near future. I had only been mentoring a few students just last year, however, all those under my guidance had their grades increased from a C+ to an A-. Furthermore, I had attained a myriad of awards and honours for both my academic effort as well as my extracurricular activities. Most prominently, in 2018, I was a UN Youth Emerging Young Leader Finalist, a QLD delegate to the UN Youth National Conference and the Youth Member of Parliament for Noosa.

I believe that to achieve the optimal outcome out of studying, one cannot rely entirely on the given materials but must exude a curiosity or exercise an effort to find out more details of the problem and apply their critical thinking skills in coming up with their own resolution to the problem. Thus, my teaching technique aims to deeply engage students in their field of study and gently guide them when my help is needed, otherwise, I encourage them to develop their own critical thinking and researching system.

1. Rates are the same as stated regardless of the student's level.
2. Travel cost is $10 for under 1 hr of travelling and a flat rate of $20 for more than 2 hours of travelling.
3. 48 hrs cancellation policy. Any cancellations occurring after the stated 48hrs will be charged half the price of the booking.
