I am an Irish poet inspired by various oral, singer-songwriter, and rebel poetry traditions and by resistance to empire, capital, and human domestication. My work has won many awards and nominations in Ireland and abroad and been translated into over a dozen languages.

My lessons are curricula are designed in a bespoke and flexible way in co-operation with my students, with their learning needs and desired outcomes foremost in mind. I teach all levels and most ages, including neurodivergent young people and adults.
I have been teaching for 30 years and mentoring for 10 and have numerous satisfied private and institutional clients, including large media organisations like RTE; premium literary magazines such as The Stinging Fly; and dozens of educational institutions from primary to third and fourth level.
